I have tried shout, all kinds of different laundry soaps! Most of the items are dark in color. I am looking for a product that is non toxic and can make at home.

Vinegar (approx. 1/2-1 cup)
or
Tea Tree Oil (approx. 6-10 drops)
or
Baking Soda (approx. 1/3-1 cup)
Your washer should have a pre-soak cycle. Fill it with whatever temp water the items require and put one of the above in. Add the clothes/sheets and let them soak for about 30 minutes to an hour. Let the cycle finish. Wash with your regular detergent.
